Loving.... L'oréal Skincare

Hello my pretties, sorry for my lack of posting recently, if you follow me on Twitter or Facebook then you might know everything has been a little crazy recently and all my uni work has suddenly come at once and I'm getting ready to start a new job as well soon, so many apologies for forgetting about my blog for a couple of weeks!

Anyway, so today I am writing a little review on L'oréal (again, I know, they're just great at the moment!), but this time I'm going to review a few of my favourite skincare products.

First up is the 'Skin Perfection Purifying Cleansing Wipes'. To my knowledge, there are a couple of different types, but as you can see these are the 'Refresh and Rebalance' ones.

Basically, I ran out of face wipes and was desperately trawling Sainsbury's to try and find some on offer, and these were 3 for 2, so I grabbed them. I think one pack is £3 or there abouts, so they are standard face wipe price which is great for such a good product! I try not to use face wipes all the time because I know they aren't that fabulous for your skin if you're scrubbing at your face, trying to remove your make- up, so I tend to just use them to cleanse my face and not to remove eye make-up. However, I think these would actually be find at removing eye make-up without the scrubbing. The wipes have a really good amount of moisture in them and are made of a very soft material, so don't leave me looking like I'm having a hot flush! They leave my skin feeling refreshed and clean and not greasy. They have also helped to clear up my spots as well! They smell very citrus-y, which makes me think they have grapefruit extracts in them, which I have heard is good for your skin. All in all, a really great product, so happy I got 3 packs!

Next up is a little bit of a rediscovery. When I first started wearing eye make-up when I was like 13 or something, my Mum got me this eye make- up remover because it was gentle.

I'm not entirely sure why I stopped using it because it's really great and it's not expensive either- I think it was about £4. As you saw from this post, I got hold of the Benefit 'They're Real' mascara, which is a fab mascara but is a little stubborn to get off, so I needed a specialist remover, so I picked up this one. It is really gentle but it does get everything off and it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. It doesn't all come off in one, but after a few attempts it does all come off. I really like this product and there's no fragrances and no nasties in it so it's great for sensitive skin as well.

The final one I'm going to rave about is a bloggers favourite. I have seen this crop up on dozens of blogs and it did take me a little while to track it down because Superdrug were always sold out of it, but I eventually got my hands on the 'Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution'.

I really like this product. I use it after a face wipe just to really remove the last of my face make-up and clean my face. It gets off all my make-up and leaves my skin hydrated but not greasy. I've heard many mixed reviews about micellar waters in general and I personally do think they are glorified toners, but this is a really lovely product to use. Again, it's fragrance free and hypo-allergenic, so it's good for sensitive skin as well. This was a lot cheaper than I thought it was going to be, I think it was about £3.50, so a bit of a bargain as well, considering I initially picked up a micellar water by 'B.' which was like £6 and pants. The packaging, as with most L'oréal products is really lovely and very sophisticated and professional, I always feel very grown up when I'm using them! And they last forever. I've been using my micellar solution for a good two months now and I'm not even down to the logo yet!

What do you think about L'oréal's skincare products? Do you have any recommendations?

A final couple of housekeeping notes, as it has been 2 weeks since my last post, my second article for The Surrey Scholar has gone live this morning, so I would love you forever if you checked that out as well!

You may have noticed I've been having a little play around with the layout of the blog, adding a few little bits here and there so hopefully you have noticed the 'Poll' just under the 'Search' bit in the right sidebar. The point of this is for me to know what sorts of posts you guys like the most so I can write more of them, as I saw the Bonfire Night post I did was really popular! You've got a few options, so please take a couple of seconds to vote in that and I was thinking I would change it every few weeks, so I can write content that you guys really enjoy! And finally, on a little bit of a festive note, I have just started feeling very festive and started a new Christmas board on Pinterest, so if you're in need of some Christmas cheer, then give that a little look here!

Also, I am currently obsessed with MAC 'Cranberry' eyeshadow- if you have found any great dupes please let me know!

Happy Monday!
